Episode 55: Bones of the Earth

2.4.1. Drinks have found and saved the Lost Champion of Tevanna, Veritta after fighting off a horde of undead, awakened trees and the corrupted spirit that had attempted to trap her. While the rest of them helped Veritta recover and took a moment to regroup Bitsy found the temple that is at the heart of the forest's corruption. Inside is the corrupted spirit, as well as the Totem of Fall that she came all this way looking for. Now is the time to come up a with a plan and fulfill the will of the spirits and join the two parts together.

Holiday Hiatus and Beneath Shadowed Wings Delay

Welcome!  As you may have noticed, this is not an episode of Through the Balcony.  Nor is it exactly on time.  Could I have posted it earlier and let you know about this delay beforehand?  Certainly!  Did I?  No.  I could blame all sorts of things: the holidays, a global pandemic, busy schedules, but at the end of the day…
I was just lazy and tired.
All the aforementioned things played a role… but… laziness.
Now, as for the hiatus that does fall squarely on the blame of the holidays and the global pandemic.  It’s been over a month and half since we’ve been able to sit down and play around the table together due to our local restrictions.  And with the holidays we thought that taking a break and just relaxing might be better than trying to force out a one shot.  But going into the new year we do have some things to tide you over until we can start playing in person once more.
In the next couple of weeks we’ll be releasing the first episode of a campaign set in a different world.  I don’t want to give away too much, but it’s one that we can run when I need to take a break so you will definitely be seeing more of it.  You’ll just have to wait to learn more in a week or two!
Well, that’s really all I had to share today.  I hope that everyone is keeping safe and doing what they can to enjoy the holidays.  Let’s all make the most of these last few days of 2020 to the best of our ability and we’ll be back in the new year with more content for you to enjoy.
