Announcement: Putting the Old to Rest, Welcoming the New

Hello! It has been a long while since I’ve done one of these, which has been pretty strange. A couple of weeks have passed since we released the last episode of the Beneath Shadowed Wings campaign, which is honestly a bit surreal to think about. Six years living in that world made it hard to close the book and let the story rest on its own. I will always love that world, and those characters, and everything we made together sitting around that table.
But ending one story means that it’s time for us to open a new one. A new world. New characters. New terrible accents.
Believe it or not it’s been a couple of months since we made those last rolls, and I’ve been working hard to set the stage for our next campaign. I’m really excited that you’ll get to join us from the beginning of this one, rather than having to start when everything is in motion. We haven’t been doing nothing in those months, even if we have been taking it easier. Over the next weeks we’ll be releasing a few episodes of the Game of Heroes that we’ve run while I get everything sorted. It’s honestly been nice to be a player for a bit, and to let my batteries recharge.
Once those are released though, we’ll be jumping into the new campaign. A campaign I am calling: Children of Ruin. Before the first session I will release a few short episodes explaining a bit of the lore and introducing the world of Hy’ilrith. Just the basics, the lore and knowledge that the players are starting with so that we all start exploring the world together. So there is still a bit of a wait to get there and let us build up a small buffer of episodes, but there is still a lot to look forward to.
